For over 30-years in a lead-design role, Mr. Gellos has led many innovative projects including a broad range of Corporate, Office, Health Care, Entertainment, Recreation and Brand Identity commissions. Fundamental to his project approach is working within a collaborative team-oriented project delivery structure to achieve a company's program, schedule and budget goals. He served as lead designer for Ericsson's North American Headquarters project in Plano, Texas, a 38-acre corporate campus master plan encompassing 1.5 million square feet of built environment for the Sweden-based technology giant. The project gained international recognition for workplace design that reinforced corporate culture and brand while building business success; a project that; "...makes the conventions that govern North American office design look obsolete..." (Architectural Record).
His work has focused on taking full advantage of the expressive capacity of design while creating the most productive workplace environments in which to work. His project approach emphasizes collaborative and participatory interaction among all stakeholders.
Mr. Gellos served as Design Architect for the recently completed 120,000sf Oregon State Police Headquarters and Salmon Run Commercial Park in Salem, Oregon; the latter now hosting Gellos-led tenant improvements involving the Federal Government's Social Security Administration and recently completed LEED Silver HC Community Based Outpatient Clinic for the Veteran's Administration.
